        He began with climbing in 1997 on a rock cliff Stránská skála in Brno. After quick performance increase he climbed in 1999 his first 8a. After graduating on studies in secondary school he has spent his full time in climbing - professionally. In 2000 at Czech Championship in lead (difficulty) climbing wins first place.

        From this years he enters among the best even at international competitions and in 2001 in Swiss Winthertur he becomes the World Vice-champion and he wins in Austrian Imst on junior World Championship. The same year on autumn he wins at prestigious competition Rock Master in Italian Arco and wins two competitions of World Cup and becomes Czech Champion.

        In 2002 he fully concerns on World Cup competitions and in the overall ranking he is the 2nd. Except the competitions he succeeds this year in the only the 2nd climb of the legendary route Underground 9a RP in Italian Massone. He again wins in Czech Championship.

        In 2003 he focus his preparation to the peak of the season - Worl Championship. In France Chamonix he becomes the World Champion. In this year he climbs another 9a Sanskij par in Slovenian Osp. He is the Czech Champion.

        The 2004-year is in the sign of the World Cup. After series of the competitions the last in Slovenian Kranj decided, where he by the 1st place confirms the overall condition and becomes the overall winner of the World Cup 2004. In the fifth case in the row he wins the Czech Championship.

        He has lived now with his girlfriend Helena Lipenská in Brno and train mainly in the hall of home club Vertical Boulder centrum. Because of the climbing he has not a lot of time for other activities but he likes listening music or takes care about a dog member of the family Jack.
